Passionate about social change and a good adaptor. I’ve spent a good number of years in education which makes me an excellent communicator and problem solver. I’m currently hoping to get an opportunity where I can add value and make a difference.

Awethu Tombo

Class of 2025

I am a hard worker, farming with my father from the age of 14 years. I enjoy outside activities like fishing, horseback riding and swimming. I want to be a well known farmer in the area in the next few years.

Nandipha Plaatjies

Class of 2025

I am an honest, confident and well-disciplined person. I believe in sharing love, working to the best of my ability and to always being punctual. My goals are to make a success of every task that may come my way and to one day be a qualified nurse and open my own hair salon in my community.

I am a compassionate, caring and well-mannered person. I am passionate about youth and the younger generation, because they are the future. My goal is to help them develop.

I am a kind, full of life and helpful individual. I am an effective communicator which helps me in this line of work. I enjoy what I do as it is always a way to help people who need assistance. I believe there will always be room to grow, and I have an eagerness to learn more everywhere I can.

I am a hardworking, dedicated and respectful individual. I am completing a learnership programme at GLE that will help me achieve various tasks including teacher’s assistant and administration work. My skills include being patient and a good communicator. My goals are to better myself through educating children which is my passion.

I am an optimistic and trustworthy individual. I have achieved my skills through working with disabled kids at Sabrina Love. My goal is to build my experience in teaching and further my studies so I can grow.

I am adaptable, reliable, capable and a conflict resolver. I am a fast learner and hard worker. I believe in going the extra mile and to always show compassion. I strive to always give 100%. My goal as a care giver is to comfort people, to help them with dignity and respect, and to be a companion.

I am a very respectful person, for me it is all about respect, but I also do my work with love, care and passion. I am a very talkative people’s person, who always keeps the people around me happy.

I am a dependable worker with experience in security, caregiving, merchandising, and admin support. Skilled across sectors from frail care to stockroom and security operations, I hold certificates in caregiver training, merchandising, and business practices. I enjoy working with people, staying organised, and continually learning, with a goal to grow in practical, people-focused roles while advancing my healthcare studies.

I am a very honest and helpful individual. I have the ability to adapt to new situations and priorities. I developed listening and communication skills through my 12 month training with GLE. My goal is to become a better care giver.

I am a very strong, caring and committed person and I strive to the best of my ability to always do my best. I believe caring for others comes from the heart as it started from the age of five for me. I also believe in always being punctual which can be a good benefit when looking for a job.
